How
to professionally pack your moving boxes
1.Find
items of similar size and weight and group them together.
When packing try to stay organized and not mix items from different rooms into the same moving boxes.
Start by filling your empty moving boxes with enough crumbled up ink less packing paper or bubble wrap to cover the bottom of the box. Then, wrap the heaviest items first with packing
paper or bubble wrap and place them in the box.
2.
Next, wrap any additional lighter items you may have with
packing paper or bubble wrap. Then separate them from the
other items that are at the bottom of the box using bubble wrap or crumbled up packing paper.
3.
Before you close the box, make sure there are no unfilled
spaces. These unfilled spaces can cause shifting around
and damage to you items. To prevent this try stuffing crumpled
packing paper into any empty spaces. Remember boxes that are under packed can collapse
in transit if their are heavier boxes stacked on top of it. While over packing your moving boxes can cause a rupture
in the cardboard and damage the content within.
4.
Lastly close the moving boxes flaps shut and seal it in place using sturdy
packing tape or duct tape. Using a tape gun will make sealing your cardboard boxes fast and easy. Using a permanent marker, label all your cardboard
boxes with the content within and the destination of the room it
is going to.
