The "How To" for packing certain moving items




How To Pack Kitchen Items
Packaging & Moving supplies needed:


A. Adhesive packaging Tape
B. Moving boxes Small and medium size
C. Bubble wrap
D. Newspaper or packaging peanuts
E . Your kitchen towels and linens

Packing Breakable items :

- Place layers of bubble wrap in between bowls and plates. Bubble wrap each mug and glass and tape to hold shut.
- Fill up the bottom of the box with crumbled up paper or packaging peanuts. Then layer in mugs and glasses with paper and peanuts or place groups of layered bowls and plates above. Fill in all sides of cardboard box and the top with more crumbled newspaper and peanuts.
- when it come to the bigger breakable items such as glass coffee pots, china dishes, etc. Wrap each in bubble wrap and tape shut. Place 2 - 3 smaller items into a small moving box. Making sure you layer the bottom, sides and top of the box with crumbled newspaper and peanuts, as well as placing them in between items.
- Using adhesive packaging tape seal cardboard moving boxes as "fragile" and "kitchen".

Packing Non-Breakable items :

- Start by picking utensils that you will use on the first day in your new home. A good choice would be some pots, cooking spoons, frying pan, spatula and some utensils.
- using a medium or large box put some crumbled newspaper on the bottom of the box then place items in. Make sure to put newspaper or bubble wrap in between each item. Fill in empty spaces with crumbled up paper.
-Using adhesive packaging tape seal cardboard moving boxes and label "kitchen"and "first day stuff".
