How to Pack Beds
A. Adhesive packaging Tape and Rope
B. Large Moving pads for protecting headboards and footboards
C. Mattress covers or sheets
D. Plastic bag
Packing Bed:
A. separate bed frames and label all the pieces to help you put it back together later. Using tape or rope group all rails together.
B. Use the plastic bag to put all nuts, bolts, screws, etc. and tape it to the rails.
C. Tie large moving pads around headboards and footboards.
D. Place plastic mattress covers over mattresses to protect them. You can also leave the sheets on if you don't have plastic mattress covers. All finished.
Waterbed Mattresses
First thing you should do is drain all the water out of the waterbed. Then fold the mattress 30 inches at a time. Make sure to fix folds as to prevent creases from occurring. Also, take a look at your owner's manual for care instructions and transporting details. Lastly make sure you place the mattress in a separate box from other sharp items.
