Tips on using moving boxes and packing supplies

A. Usually i would recommend mattress covers, but your mattress is much thicker then normal. Your best alternative is to use some packing materials such as stretch wrap instead. The stretch wrap we sell at Direct Moving Boxes has a handle on it, making it much easier to use when wrapping your items or in this case your mattress.

Packing instructions:
Mattresses can be very heavy, having a person to assist you will make things more manageable. Start by turning your mattress over on its left side. Then, stretch wrap around the circumference of the mattress, making sure to get the corners. After that, stand the mattress up strait, you might wont to lean it up against the wall for balance. Begin to stretch wrap around the circumference. I would recommend covering the mattress at least 3-4 times with the stretch wrap for good protection.

Note: Remember to be careful when loading your wrapped mattress into a moving truck. It is best for your mattress if you load it into the moving truck and position it on its side against the truck wall. Stretch wrap is strong and will protect your mattress but any sharpe cornered object will penetrate the covering.
